because I am dodgy, I have decided to write a story and post it, where nobody can see it. Um, I am reluctant to let everyone know this site's url, because of all of the yuki-ness. BUT WAIT! how can I be ashamed of my UNDYING LOVE FOR HIM? it makes no sense. OH WELL!!! um. yes. the point is.......
I am going to write a story.
-----------
Destiny Rainbow carefully adjusted her triangular arrangement of hair. She was dressed in a yellow raincoat, because it was raining, and she was carrying a matching yellow umbrella.
She was looking forward to seeing the forecasted rainbow appear in the sky.
But unfortunately for Destiny...it was not to be.
"Destiny? Destiny Rainbow? Is that you??"
A green-draped figure emerged out of the mist. It ought to have become clearer as it got closer, but didn't. Being longsighted was really very irritating, especially when one was vain and did not wish to wear glasses, and poor, so did not want to wear contacts, and also, extremely uncoordinated, and so was unable to deal with all glass objects anyway.
Destiny opened her mouth. "Um, yes, it's me. I am Destiny Rainbow."
The green man-shaped thing was coming closer and closer. What could this mean? It smelt very strange. Like burnt charcoal.
"Um...i'm sorry...who are - "
At this moment, Destiny was cut off by the sudden glimpse of a shiny greenish metal. Although she did not know it, it was a medallion with the words "[s2] forever" engraved on it, and she had given it to the man at their last meeting, approximately 7 years ago.
At that time, she had been wearing her glasses. She had managed to lose them while drinking woefully sugarless tea. It had tasted awful. The man - his name, at that time, had been Patrick - had had coffee and she had envied him hopelessly.
It seemed that Patrick had found her once again, no doubt to distract her with his frothy coffee.
Well, Destiny was not going to let that happen.
"Do you like tea?" she asked.
Patrick blinked. Was she trying to hint at something? Did long-lost loves usually behave this way? most importantly, how would she react if he stole her umbrella?
He cleared his throat. "Um, as it happens, yes, I do, and I also like umbrellas."
Unfortunately, Destiny was, by this time, walking steadily towards the nearest cafe. Patrick had no choice but to follow her. It seemed all too obvious to him that she had not yet forgiven him for putting all the sugar in his coffee. Then again, Destiny had always been a strange girl. It was possible that she had simply forgotten about the rain.
They sat down at a table. Destiny was very careful to order coffee. She carefully emptied six packets of sugar into it. Patrick stared.
...no, she hadn't changed a bit.
"So, did you manage to find a job?" he asked.
Destiny looked up and spilt her seventh packet of sugar. She glared. "No, actually, I took a course in forgery/disguise, and am now living on a retirement pension in a small cottage surrounded by cats."
Patrick sighed. Why was it so awkward? He thought of their last meeting.
*flashback*
"But Patrick, I - "
"Destiny, you have to understand. If you won't come with me, then there's no hope. I know you've always been independent but really, now you're just being -"
"HOW COULD YOU! YOU WERE GOING TO SAY THAT I WAS BEING RIDICULOUS, WEREN'T YOU? JUST BECAUSE I DON'T HAVE A JOB, I THINK IT'S EXTREMELY UNFAIR FOR YOU TO EXPECT ME TO ACCOMPANY YOU AND BE A HOUSEWIFE IN THE FAR CORNERS OF THE GLOBE -"
"spheres do not have corners."
"AND REALLY! JUST BECAUSE I DID NOT COMPLETE YEAR 10 HIGH SCHOOL DOES NOT MEAN THAT ALL I AM FIT FOR IS HOUSEWORK! I'M VERY SORRY PATRICK, BUT YOU WILL NOT BE SEEING ME AGAIN!!"
*end flashback*
Destiny emptied her cup of coffee in one swallow, and immediately broke into a coughing fit. Patrick watched her concernedly. He was aware that slapping her on the back would simply make her fall over.
He was sure that Destiny had meant what she had said, 7 years ago.
And yet......here she was now.
Could this mean something?
"Destiny......"
"*cough* yes...Patrick?"
"I'd really like to meet your cats?"
Destiny blinked. Slowly. Three times. And then she beamed. "Oh, Patrick! You're so kind! Nobody ever wants to meet my cats, ever! Truly, I'd hug you if I were not covered with sugar."
Patrick smiled. It was going to be all right. After seven years of searching and waiting.
The End

Omg, was that dodgy or what. o_O And I've never liked the name Patrick. I do not understand myself. =='
