Oh ying

OH Ying. How I count the ways i love thee.

The number of quantum states in every quantum particule in the universex the number of states of my love >9000?

I love you as much as my heart can possibly give without entering cardiac arrest and spurting blood out of my veneral arteries. And penis. That was a double entendre.

Shall I compare thee to a summer's day? Thou art more lovely and hot. Much more hot.

My thoughts and desires follow you as easily as the wind passes through the trees, as easily as the earth will be engulfed by the sun once it has expanded sufficently, and as easily as i came (home).

This i wish to thee - Yi-ling.

you've got me seeing through different eyes

As a Christmas present from my mother I managed to get tickets to Wicked for the second time. And is a VERY different experience, knowing what to expect, having read the book and tried to hit those high notes in Defying Gravity, Wizard and I and i'll stop now before i start listing all the songs. I am sad to say that I was not drawn in quite as much as i was the first time, but that doesn't mean that I was not AMAZED and INSPIRED. I'm also glad that Wensi was finally able to see it; I think her life has been enriched. infused with wickedness.

Wensi and I both got tshirts - i got a grey/green "defy gravity" one to match her pink "popular" one. So now, we match! We also bought WICKED MUGS. I am rather overwhelmed by all this wicked merchandise and feel rather spoilt, rather wicked.

So anyway, I took her muttered "that was pretty amazing" after Wizard and I as a good sign, though she did not seem quite as starry-eyed as I was, acting like a zombie at interval. Though she did start crying in For Good aww.

Afterwards, she started talking about how troubled she felt about Elphaba's apparent lack of remorse over stealing Glinda's fiancee, Fiyero.

Glinda: "The two of you! behind my back!"
Elphaba: "No, it wasn't like that!!!"
Fiyero: "Well...actually it was."

I can see why Glinda-identifiers might be appalled at the way Elphaba stole Fiyero from Glinda then didn't feel bad about it at all. I would go on about this but i don't think i want a repeat of the argument/discussion wensi and I had about it. Let's just say that, I was blinded by my love for (Jemma Stevenson) ELPHABA, so, while Wensi found As Long As You're Mine disturbing, I found it rather romantic. Even though their relationship wasn't the main focus of the musical, Fiyero and Elphaba did change each other for good; i mean, fiyero now has exciting philosophical thoughts like this:

"It's not lying. It's looking at things...a different way." - Fiyero

and Elphaba, after her disappointment in the Wizard, can finally have the acceptance she so wished for and yet was denied for so long:

"I need help believing you're with me tonight." - Elphaba

Elphaba is just so endearing. Though I think it's enhanced by the fact that she's played by actresses who are incredibly talented singers, who get to sing amazing songs like Defying Gravity. That being said I still love No Good Deed more.

"All helpful urges should be circumvented!" - Elphaba

To move on to our cast, we had, interestingly, both standbys: Jemma Stevenson as Elphaba and Erin Hasan as Glinda. I could go on and on about how beautiful and amazing Jemma's voice is, but I won't, to spare less enthusiastic people XD To see Jemma for the second time was amazing though, I think she's actually better than I remembered, and she has, like, a really beautiful belting voice. Erin was good also - her operatic voice was quite a lot better than Lucy Durack's (from what i remember) though I don't think her acting was quite as good. Hmm. Only very slightly though. And I mean, they were both realllly good. In fact the entire cast was good. For Vincent's sake, I observed Bert Newton as the Wizard closely. He was rather amusing I must say, and Vincent's imitations of his singing were quite amazingly accurate.

I could go on and on about Wicked, but I should probably stop, because if I talk too much about how much i love it/jemma I think Wong might get a bit jealous XDDD

(btw i think some of my quotes may be wrong as they were taken from my memory and, as wicked obsessed as i am, i don't have the whole show word-perfect XDD)

It is far too hot upstairs, so i have migrated temporarily.

Additionally, I have changed the look of this blog purely so that I can put in this picture. The blog was too narrow for my liking, anyway...

Young Rice Sprout from the Earth

Hello. This blog has been reopened as a group blog now. Currently Wong and I are the only contributors but this may change in future. We do have a follower though (i think he is a follower of me) who is Wong.

Today I consumed some rice in the form of sushi. It was very delicious.

Tomorrow, who knows what will come? What rice will be consumed?

the rice ball's sister site is, you should all visit it.

New Years

This was originally posted on my own blog (Wongsta's) but I thought that you guys would like to read it.

The plan was originally to do only two things:

1 - Go to Allens with my friend to buy a bday present
2- Go to party afterwards, which was a ‘cool’ party i was randomly invited to (had alcohol, decided not to drink cause i ddin’t want to lol)

This is what actually happened
We met at Allens at (1pm). After going to allens with ying to buy the present (~2pm)I followed her home as I had nothing to do for 6 hrs. I realised her mum wasn’t home, and was going to leave as being at her house alone would be very suspicious. Fortunately Stooph decided to go to her house before the party so i had a reason to stay (she was therea bout 3pm). We mainly played…truth or dare, and watched kung fu panda for one hour. It stopped at this point because the disc was bad. Then ying’s mum made some nice pasta for us to eat(about 6pm?).

Since her brother (Matt) was going to another party, he gave us a lift to the station(about 6 something?). He thought that station was on the line to the house, however it was not, so if we did infact take the train, we would have had to change lines. However, the two trains that were going to the city were completely full, due to new years.

Some random dude decided to vandalise the train because…he was angry that he couldn’t go on it? Some great citizen, however, stopped him by grabbing his marker. I decided to get my dad to pick me up, as otherwise we’d be stuck there for a long time waiting for a vacant train. We arrived at the party shortly after (7:30pm?), but it was quite bad since we didn’t know most of the people there. I didn’t drink anything. Apprently, after we ditched the party (~10:30pm) (after about an hour) some drunk dude came along and everyone talked to him.

We went looking for coffee, but none of the good shops were open. Instead, we went back to my house for coffee. At my house (~11pm), ying decided to wear my pants and shirt becuase the dress was cold. This fulfilled the former ‘pants party’ thing i put on facebook - that there would be a party in my pants on new years(~12am)! So unfortunately, i was only able to make two people, Stooph and Ying, come. To my house.

We made omelettes (with too much cheese) becuase….no reason. We watched the fireworks, and prank called a few people. Then they went home(~1am).

What an abrupt ending.
